We are a small studio that takes craft, speed, and ownership seriously. Here is what we believe, how we work day to day, and the lines we will not cross.

What we believe
These are not posters on a wall. They decide what we build and what we refuse.
Performance is a feature
Speed, stability, and accessibility are part of the product, not a cleanup pass. A slow site is a broken site, no matter how it looks.
Own your stack
You should be able to take what we build and run it without us. We choose tools and patterns that leave you in control, not dependent.
Measure everything
If we cannot tell whether it worked, we did not finish. Citation share, load time, booked calls, hours saved. We instrument the outcome before we ship.

How we work
The way the studio runs is a deliberate choice, tuned for senior people doing focused work.
Small senior teams
A handful of experienced people per project, not a pyramid. Fewer hands, less translation loss, decisions made by the people doing the work.
Async-first
We default to clear written updates over standing calls. You get a record you can read on your time, and we get long stretches to actually build.
Ship fast
We move in tight increments and put working things in front of you early. Momentum beats a perfect plan that lands six months late.
No lock-in
Clean handoffs, documented systems, standard tools. You can keep going with us or without us, and that keeps us honest.

What we will not do
Saying no to these is how we keep the rest of it true.
No bloat
No heavy frameworks or third-party scripts loaded just because they are familiar. Every dependency has to earn its place in the bundle.
No vanity metrics
We will not dress up a report with numbers that look good and mean nothing. If a metric does not tie to your goals, we leave it out.
No dark patterns
No fake scarcity, no buried opt-outs, no tricks that convert today and cost trust tomorrow. We persuade with the real thing.
No hand-offs to juniors
The senior person who scoped your project is the one who builds it. We will not sell you experience and deliver someone else.

How this shows up in the work.
No. We do calls when a call is the fastest way to a decision. Async is the default for status and detail so calls stay rare, short, and worth it.
You get the code, the accounts, and the documentation, on standard tools you can hire for. If you want to part ways, you leave with a system that keeps running.
Usually two to four senior people per engagement. Enough to cover the disciplines a project needs, small enough that everyone knows the whole picture.
The opposite. Small increments mean we catch problems early and you see real work sooner. Fast here means frequent and tested, not rushed and fragile.
